Our Africa Practice focuses on representing clients who are doing substantial business in Africa and who are committed to continuing their business in Africa. We have represented Clients on issues ranging from compliance with trade regulations involving the Africa Continental Free Trade Area (“AfCFTA”), the Economic Community of West African States (“ECOWAS”), the Southern African Development Community (“SADC”), the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (“IGAD”), and other regional trade blocks in Africa. We have also advised companies in purchasing mineral interests in West Africa, including purchasing iron ore and other mineral rights.
