International Practice
Williams LLP’s United Nations Practice focuses largely on representing Permanent Missions and Consulates of mostly African countries in all disputes they face in American courts. We have represented Permanent Missions in disputes with employees, contractual disputes with third parties and vendors, among other disputes.
We have also advised Permanent Missions and Consulates on the Financial Regulations of the United Nations, on the United Nations Anti-corruption regulations and standards, on issues related to the United Nations Office of Internal Oversight Services, and on asset recovery.
In limited circumstances, where we do not have a conflict of interest, we represent individuals within claims against the United Nations.
