Our mining practice focuses on assisting companies in contracting with sovereigns in negotiating mining agreements throughout West Africa. Our work has assisted individuals and companies in negotiating iron ore and timber contracts in Liberia and negotiating mineral (and mixed mineral) rights in Guinea. We have taken our clients through the life cycle of a mineral rights transaction, from administrative issues that come up to finalizing the mineral rights agreement.
