Williams LLP’s Africa practice advises individuals and entities with substantial ties to and interests in Africa.  Williams LLP’s service has focused on advising clients on the enforceability of international arbitration clauses under EU Law, United States Law, and US federal and state laws, forming entities in the United States to allow for doing business in the United States.  We have also advised American and African companies and individuals on various free trade agreements in Africa, including The Africa Continental Free Trade Area (“AfCFTA”), the cooperation that came as a result of the forming of the Economic Community of West African States (“ECOWAS”), Southern African Development Community (“SADC”), and the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (“IGAD”).
